1st Peter Declarations

rain-water
My cup runs over with blessings I cannot contain!

I am agreeable

I am sympathetic

I am loving

I am compassionate

I am humble

I do not retaliate

I do not offer sharp tongued sarcasm

Instead, I bless

That is my job to bless

I will be a blessing and I will get a blessing

I want to embrace life and see my day fill up with good

Therefore I will

Say nothing evil or hurtful

I snub evil and cultivate good

I run after peace for all I am worth

God looks on all this with approval

God listens and responds well to what I ask

God turns His back on those who do evil things

I do good with my heart and soul

Therefore I cannot be stopped

Even if I suffer for it I am still better off

I don’t give the opposition a second thought

Through thick and thin I keep my heart at attention in adoration  before you Christ, my master

I am ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why I live the way I do, and always with the utmost courtesy

I keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at me, none of it will stick

They will realize it is them who are dirty and need a bath

It is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to be punished for doing bad.

That is what Christ definitively did: suffered because of others’ sins – the Righteous One for the unrighteous.

Jesus you went through it all – You were put to death and then made alive to bring all to God
