Pray for Our Nation – Wednesday, January 24, 2018

Wednesday, January 24, 2018

This morning, President Trump is hosting a credentialing ceremony for newly appointed ambassadors to the U.S. that will be representing nations from around the world. According to diplomatic protocol, the credentialing ceremony is where the president formally accepts the credentials from foreign ambassadors. The credentials are a written letter from the head of state appointing the said ambassador as the representative for their respective nation.

In the evening, the president is travelling to Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum. While there, he will meet with the head of the African Union Moussa Faki , British Prime Minister Theresa May, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Rwandan President Paul Kagame, and Swiss President Alain Berset.

As the Lord Leads, please pray:

  • For wisdom for the president as he meets with world leaders in Switzerland.
  • For guidance as he works to do what is in the best interest of the nation.
  • For safety for the president and staff as they travel.
  • For unity in the work towards peace and collaboration by world leaders.

We provide these suggested prayer items to help you intercede for our president and the issues our commander-in-chief faces each day. We trust that you will also pray for all our leaders, asking for God’s wisdom and for His will to be done.” – The Presidential Prayer Team
